Benson Development was formed in 2015 by founder Will Benson, who is the primary catalyst behind the Company’s investment and development strategies across the Greater Houston area. Will Benson’s professional experience includes Principal Ownership roles in multiple real estate development projects, both residential and commercial. Prior to forming Benson Development, Will Benson held Sr. Management roles with a Civil Engineering firm and managed over 300+ facilities for a global oilfield services company. Prior to these roles, Will built a foundation in development experience as a staff developer overseeing industrial park developments and working in city government in Planning and Economic Development roles. Will graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Political Science and has served on the Board of Directors for Planning & Zoning, Economic Development, Credit Union, and Churches.

Katie Benson was an integral player in the creation of Benson Development alongside her husband, Will. Katie is the CPO of Benson Development where she maintains the oversight of all company assets both through the acquisition and disposition phases. Her professional experience includes Principal Ownership roles in multiple real estate development projects, both residential and commercial. Prior to forming Benson Development with her husband in 2015, she held management roles in marketing, accounting, procurement, and contract management. Katie graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Business, where she and Will met. Katie’s passion for fitness led her to open her own boutique fitness studio, which she currently operates. Katie is a mother of three from Houston, Texas that embodies entrepreneurship wherever she goes.
